DAY 01 : ARRIVE DELHIUpon
arrival at Indra Gandhi International Airport Terminal 2 you are met and
transferred to your prebooked Hotel.
Upon arrival at the hotel you are
received with a traditional welcome of TIKKA and ARTI. Rest of the day is
relaxing and for free activities.

DAY 02 :
DELHIThis
morning we visit Old Delhi, built in the 17th century by Shah Jehan the
Magnificent ( who also built the Taj Mahal). First we will be visiting the
famous Jama Masjid mosque with its 9,000 sq. ft. courtyard, three domes and two
minarets, and then proceed to the massive complex known as the Red
Fort.
Afternoon we'll visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple, a Spectacular structure
that's just 60 years old , and then proceed via India Gate and the Governmental
building to Qutub Minar, the 240 foot tower built in 1190 to commemorate the
arrival of Islam in India, the Bahai Temple with its nine pools on an elevated
platform, and the Crafts Museum, which replicates and Indian street with over 50
artists and craftspeople at work.

NOWDAY 03 : DELHI - AMRITSAREarly
morning we are transferred to the New Delhi railway Station to board our train
for Amritsar - the city of Golden Temple. Upon arrival we are met and
transferred to our prebooked Hotel.
Afternoon we visit the famous Golden
temple which is scared to the Sikh nation, here we will find time to tune into
the amazing spiritual centre and feel the power that inspires the Sikh people
worldwide. We continue our city tour and visit the Jallian Walla Bagh - Martyrs'
Memorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the
outskirts of Golden Temple.Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a
peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the
British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar.

DAY 04 : AMRITSARAfter a relaxed breakfast we
proceed to visit the Wagha Border - the border between Pakistan and India. From
here we continue the visit to Tarn Taran a town situated 24 kms south was
founded by Sri Guru Arjan Dev in 1590. The famous Gurudwara stands on the side
of the large tank.From here we visit the the town of Goindwal where Guru Amar
Dass established a new centre for preaching Sikhism A Baoli well paved with 84
steps was constructed here.The devout believe that by reciting Japji Sahib the
divine Word revealed to Guru Nanak Dev Ji at each step after taking a bath in
the Baoli provides Moksh - liberation from the 84000 cycle of life of this
world.
Evening we watch the famous Punjabi Bangra Dance
Performance.

DAY 05 : AMRITSAR -
ANANDPUR SAHEBToday morning we drive towards Ananadpur Saheb the
birth place of Sikhism. The valley from Ropar through Kiratpur Sahib and
Anandpur Sahib is full of Gurudwaras. Anandpur Saheb , the abode of peace has
numerous Gurudwaras. The place was founded by Guru Tegh Bahadurji , the ninth
Sikh Guru, Guru Govind Singh Ji , the tenth Guru had baptised the first five
Sikhs called the PANJ PIARE here.
Afternoon we continue to
Chandigarh.

DAY 06 : CHANDIGARH -
DELHIToday after a relaxed breakfast we start for a city
tour of Chandigarh visiting the rock garden and the Moghul gardens in
Pinjore.
After noon we continue our drive towards Delhi. Upon arrival in
Delhi we check into our pre booked hotel.

NOWDAY 07 :
DELHI - SAMODE - JAIPURDepart
for Jaipur by surface . Enroute our journey we visit the famous Samode Village
and visit the Palace and the Samode Bagh . We continue our journey to Jaipur,
popularly known as the Pink City, was built in 1727 AD by Maharaja Sawai Jai
Singh II. Designed in accordance with Shilp Shastra - an ancient Hindu treatise
on architecture - Jaipur follows a grid system. Upon arrival check in your pre
booked Hotel.
DAY 08 : JAIPURToday
morning we visit the Amber Fort in the Aravali Hills, which is a super example
of Rajput (Medieval Hindu) style architecture. A slow elephant ride takes us to
the top of the Fort, which houses several graceful buildings. Afternoon - tour
of City Palace and Observatory. The City Palace in the heart of the old city is
a blend of Rajasthan and Mughal architecture. The Palace of winds - a five
storied structure of pink sandstone has semi-octagonal and delicately
honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city. It was
originally built to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch everyday
life.
DAY 09 : JAIPUR - BHARATPUR -
FATEHPURSIKRI - AGRAThis
morning travel to Bharatpur for a tour of the world famous bird sanctuary here.
The reserve bosts of river 300 species of resident and migratory birds. From
here we drive to the ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri ( ghost capital) for a tour
of the magnificent and world heritage buildings still in a state of perfect
preservation. We continue our journey for Agra and upon arrival check into
Hotel.
DAY 10 :
AGRAAgra was the capital of India under the Moghuls in the 16th and
17th centuries. This morning we see the exquisite tomb of the emperor Jehangir's
chief minister and father-in - law, often called the 'BABY TAJ' because its
design foreshadows the Taj Mahal,. Then we tour Agra's Red Fort, built over
three generations by the moghul emperors. Following an afternoon free, we go at
sunset to see the Taj Mahal, the mausoleum built by a sorrowing Shah Jehan in
memory of his young wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Building's stupendous scale,
flawless symmetry, translucent white marble and shimmering reflection in the
water channel are truly breathtaking.
Evening we are transferred to the
railway station to board an overnight train for the Holy city of Beneras (
Varanasi ).

DAY 11 :
ARRIVE VARANASIUpon arrival we are met and transferred to our prebooked hotel .
In
the afternoon proceed to the village of Sarnath on the outskirts of town. It was
in this Deer Park that the Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the Park and
Museum.. Sarnath was made a centre of Buddhist worship by the emperor Ashoka in
the 3rd century BC. We will visit the Main Shrine and Ashoka's Pillar. In the
Archaeological Museum we will see the beautifully carved capital from the pillar
along with many other priceless Buddhist artifacts. The highlight of this tour
would be a participation in the evening Aarti ( prayer service) at the main
Buddhist temple here.

DAY 12 :
VARANASIAn early morning boat ride presents an incredible,
surrealistic scene as multitudes of devotees come to the river to pay homage to
the Sun God, Surya, Pass the bathing ghats where thousands of pilgrims purify
themselves in the holy water of the Ganges River, and the burning ghats where
cremations are conducted.
Later in the morning we will visit the city of
Beneras.
Afternoon is free for personal activities.

DAY 13 : VARANASI - BODHGAYAToday morning we
will depart for Bodhgaya. Upon arrival in Bodhgaya we checkinto our prebooked
Hotel. Bodhgaya is where Buddhism, ine of the great religions of the world was
born.To this small secluded spot on the banks of the Niranjana came Siddhartha,
the royal prince of Kapilavastu , after nine long years of searching for the
Ultimate Truth . And here under the holy People or Bo tree , he became BUDDHA ,
the enlightened one, and Dedicated himself to the good of humanity. Tradition
states that Buddha stayed in Bodhgaya for seven weeks after his enlightenment.
First week was spent under Bodhi Tree. Second week he stood gazing at the tree
and this spot was called Animeshlocha Stupa. Third week he spent in meditation ,
walking to & fro from the tree and this was named Ratnachakarma ( Jewel Walk
). Fourth week was devoted for attaining higher modes of exposition sitting and
meditating with cross legs and was called Abhi Dhamma ( Deep Meditation ). Fifth
week was again spent in meditation under another tree. The sixth takes us to
Muchalinda Lake where the serpent king Muchalinde , dwelling at the Bottom of
the Lake, rose out to protect the Master from severe storm created by Maya ( GOD
OF CHAOS ) to disturb the meditation.The Rajata tree marks the last week where
Buddha decide to preach and thus save human beings from further
sufferings.

DAY 14 :
BODHGAYAFull day is spent own your own meditating and visiting
Bodhgaya.

DAY 15 : BODHGAYA - GAYA -
PATNA BY TRAINToday we are transferred to the Gaya railway station
which is around 12 kms to board our train for Patna.
Upon arrival in Patna

NOWDAY 16 : PATNAEarly morning we
take a full day excursion to Rajgir and Nalanda. Rajgir The capital of the
mighty Madadhan Empire in the fourth century B.C is closely associated with the
life and teaching of Buddha. Here we visit the Picturesque hill of Vultures
GRIDHAKUTA - the site where Buddha returned after enlightenment.
Nalanda was
established in the fifth century B.C is recorded as the world's earliest
University.Buddha is believed to have visited Nalanda a number of time. The
archaeological zone here is classified into a number of sites that include 11
monasteries and several temples built in red brick.The site is spread over an
area of 166 feet ( north - south ) and 800 feet ( east - west
).
DAY 17 : PATNA - DELHI BY FLIGHTToday we are
transferred to the airport to board our flight for Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi
we are transferred to our prebooked Hotel.
Evening go for dances of India
performance and farewell dinner at the Haus Khas Village Complex.

DAY 18 : LEAVE DELHIAfter what will
have been a majestic way to see and experience royal India, we bid farewell as
we are transferred to the airport for our flight back home.
