Kanchipuram The golden city of
thousand temples of which 124 have withstood the ravages of time. This was the
capital of the Pallavas. Kanchipuram is the holy city of both Lord Shiva and
Lord Vishnu and it is for this reason that Kanchipuram is one of the seven holy
cities of India and on the pilgrim route. Some have called Kanchipuram the
